We are delighted to announce Alexej Pikovsky, CEO of Alphagreen Group will be joining the debate at the Cannabis Investor Forum.
Alexej and his co-founders saw the need to help European customers access the best brands in wellness and medical cannabis. Having raised capital from well-known tech angels and family offices, alphagreen.io was launched, a data-driven marketplace for wellness products in the UK and Europe. Separately, Alphagreen Group will have a presence in Germany with the aim to obtain a license to import and sell medical cannabis to pharmacies.
Prior to Alphagreen, Alexej has been working as an investor for a large-cap private equity fund and a family office where he ran the venture capital operations. He gained operational and board-level experience working closely with Compo Expert, the largest European specialty fertiliser business, as well as leading their trade sale.

Having started his career in Investment Banking at Nomura in London, Alexej has spent the last six years as an investor at Knight Vinke, Delin Capital and a $3bn private equity fund, XIO Group. Alexej holds a Masters from Imperial College London and is a Fellow of the German National Academic Foundation.
